Award winning Auctioneer Liam Kirkwood is continuing to make a name for himself in the livestock and property industry. At just 23 years old Liam is set to become one of the youngest principals on Australia. Liam won the prestigious ALPA Queensland Young Auctioneers competition at the Royal Brisbane Show in 2019 and will head to Sydney to compete againt the finalists the other states at the ALPA National Young auctioneers Competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, April 2021.
The newly minted principal has worked in livestock all his career but said he is no stranger to the rural real estate market and running a small business. He had been working at Ray White Rural Townsville since January 2019 and before that he was always a livestock buyer. He has held ambitions of being a principal because he has alway been around people owning businesses. They have taught him a lot and given him opportunities that have helped him learn and grow.
