Nerada' is ideally situated just off the Palmerston Highway and only approximately 20km from Innisfail, a thriving coastal rural town.

Originally the country was timbered with vine scrub and rainforest which now is almost fully cleared with the exception of creeks and some waterways. The country is gently to moderately sloping. Good quality red volcanic soils with some darker soils along the creek flats.
Pastures consist of Brachiaria, Kazungula, Guinea Grass and some Legumes. The paddocks are used in rotation to maximise pasture health and production.
Nerada' has access to a number of permanent spring feed creek systems supplying free clean water to livestock.
